How to send diagnostics
When a channel or match will not play, Diagnostic Logging records the steps on this device and the app gives you a short code to share. The same flow is on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, Android phones and tablets, Android TV, and Fire TV.
Turn on Diagnostic Logging
Open About (Settings) and turn on Diagnostic Logging. It records playback steps and errors on this device only. Turning it off deletes the log.
Reproduce the problem
Play the channel or match that is not working.
Report Problem or Send Diagnostics
Either choose Report Problem in the player, or go to About → Send Diagnostics (“Get a code to post on Discord or Reddit”). If logging is off, the app asks you to turn it on first.
Confirm what is sent
Confirm Send diagnostics?. The log contains playback steps, errors, and channel and server names. It never contains playlist links or passwords.
Copy or write down the code
You will see Diagnostics ready with a 6-character code.
On iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Android phones and tablets, tap Copy Code. On Apple TV, Android TV, and Fire TV, write the code down.
Post the code
Post the code on Discord or r/StreamFCBeta with a short note about the problem. The report uploads as soon as you are online.
